Oh Shep don't feel guilty for goodness sake. We've all got to live our lives and sometimes that means not being plugged in for a while. Hey no big deal, I sometimes disappear off the grid myself from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI'm really pleased you and Mrs Shep had a great week! :)
All the best
Sarah
Thankyou so much for posting a comment Sarah, i do totally agree that getting away from the cyberspace internety doobery is a good thing, it was actually great to be out of the flat and doing something, didnt stop grinning for the whole weekend i think!! although it was very tiring for me & I'm only just recovering, it was all well worth it. It was nice to get home to our wonderful coast though!! Shep
ReplyDeleteYou're very important to us Shep, but more important is that time we take away from the twitterverse to be with the real people in our lives. I feel blessed to have met you for sure, and hope that you enjoyed your break. Look forward to seeing more of your wonderful work in the coming months mwaw xx
ReplyDeleteThankyou April your support has been invaluable to me, but of course we should never neglect the people (real) in our lives, it is too easy to get caught up in our art and all the peripheries, its not like working a 9-5 and our loved ones can get left out a little if we are not careful. i make sure the computer goes off when i spend time with my wife, as it wil tonight when she gets in, that way i keep the same working hours as she does. the holiday was wonderful if short thanks, and i look forward to hearing your comments on my future paintings thankyou again shep
ReplyDeleteHaha, I am smiling. But, sometimes it is good to have a break from the online world too ~ the nice thing is that you can pick up just about where you left off and no-one minds! It sounds as though you had a lovely time :)
